Turn-Key Single Scanner Error Proofing Solution
This kit is an industry staple for stand alone barcode error proofing applications. The operator scans the build document to identify which part is required. The part is scanned and verified for correct selection. Optionally the operator may also scan additional barcodes to positively the serial number of the component installed and/or the serial number of the product the part was added to. With this simple station you can error proof the assembly and track genealogy all at the same time.
Single Torque Controller EP Station
Verifying critical fasteners is one of the fastest growing areas of error proofing applications. Descartes Single Torque EP solution allows you to simply plug into your existing torque controller and start error proofing right away. The EP1 will monitor the good job signal from the torque controller and verify both the success of the rundowns and that the correct counts were made. Add the optional barcode reader and you can have dynamic settings and track your build history as well. Torque controller not included.
Torque Station 10 Pack
The torque station 10 pack includes everything you need to connect 10 Atlas Copco or Stanley torque controllers and start error proofing right away. As an added bonus, this Cimplicity based system also includes our Torque controller driver. Utilizing the Ford Protocol, the Torque Controller Driver allows you to send the serial number of the product being worked on right to the Torque Controller. Review critical fastener results complete with job id right on the controller or use the manufacturers data collection tools to review the data on the web. 100% error proofing with 200% tracking will guarantee you ship only perfect products every time.
Material Request System (Material Call)
Never let your assembly line be stopped by parts shortages again. The EP1 system can function as a very effective material call system. When an operator's stock is running low, he/she simply pushes the EP1 button and the beacon goes on indicating more parts are required. Remote monitoring stations in the material mall, or stations mounted right on lift trucks are instantly flagged to indicate what station is requiring which part. The material handling person acknowledges the call and the operator is notified with the lighting up of the amber light. When stock is delivered, an optional barcode reader can be used to scan the delivered materials and verify the correct parts are delivered. If stock is very low, the operator can hold the button for 1 second. The system alarms the critical state and the beacon flashes. All cycle times are recorded so you can use the data to review, optimize and reduce your material handling costs. The EP1 material handling system comes with everything you need to get up and running. Add additional stations by simply plugging in more EP1s around the plant. As stations move, simply relocate them and the system keeps working. Add extra stations for just the cost of another unit. Deployment and maintenance doesn't get any easier than this.
